Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
  • Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus
  • Familiarity with Curve Dental software is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $27.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
